Olde Earth is a handmade goods shop run by my husband and I, dedicated to creating unique items made from mostly natural and recycled materials, featuring elements of nature and spirit. Our goods are high quality and unlike anything you will find in stores. We make everything from home decor to organic tea blends, one of a kind artwork to outdoor gear, divination tools to apparel. Supporting our small business helps us to thrive in all that we do, and purchases from certain products help raise money for community projects and non-profits.

"Mother Earth is our Muse!"

Olde Earth is dedicated to running our business in the most eco-ethical way possible, and we are constantly reviewing our own techniques, materials, and practices and looking for more sustainable options. This goal has no finite end, as there are always ways to improve. Some ways in which we have achieved this goal are:

  • Using only recycled leather or leather from our own hunts.
  • Making our knit products from 100% wool yarn, dyed only using natural plant dyes.
  • Acquiring fur only from our own hunts or as excess from organic rabbit farms.
  • Using only found bones and feathers or those from our own livestock and/or hunts.
  • Purchasing metals only when necessary, and always pure metals.
  • Avoiding plastic packaging in favor of recycleable paper. Our mailers are made from 100% recycled paper and are compostable.
  • Using algae-based ink to stamp our logo and other wording, as well as natural cellulose and starch based adhesives on our packaging.
  • Bottling our liquid items in glass, and offering a discount for returned vessels.
  • Selling most of our product locally, and offering a discount for using cash.
  • Sourcing our materials exclusively in our local region.
  • Offering a kraft paper alterntive to vinyl stickers.
  • Prioritizing the use of natural materials like wood, leather, linen, wool, fur, hemp, cotton, and plant based paints/dyes, preferably organically sourced.
  • Donating or gifting unsold and less popular items, as opposed to trashing them.
  • Using scrap material to fill plush items.
  • Running our website on Krystal's hosting platform; a more environmentally friendly web host.
